Douglas Wood & Associates, Inc. Completes Prominet Grove Projects

Douglas Wood & Associates, Inc. has completed the structural design for two prominent projects in Coconut Grove.
The first of these is the six-level Tigertail Plaza. This building will be located on the busy corner of Tigertail Avenue and 27th Avenue. It will be triangular-shaped and will have a penthouse conference facility and roof deck, three office levels, street level parking and underground parking.
The other project is Grove Lofts, which will be constructed on Grand Avenue. It will continue the revitalization of that area of the Grove. This building will have seven levels consisting of a rooftop swimming pool and recreation deck, three floors of residential condominiums, one office floor, street level retail and one underground parking level.
Both of these projects were analyzed and designed using the latest computer software versions of ETABS, SAFE and PTDATA. These programs are among the most powerful and versatile analytical tools available to structural engineers.
